Fall is my favorite time of year.  The temperature is not too hot, not too cold and no humidity… PERFECTION!!  Lol.  Plus you have all the beauty and colors of the trees changing colors.  Now what comes after Fall, I could live without…dreaded Winter!!!!  You have this season of beauty that fades to barrenness and gloom as the trees lose all their foliage, leaving behind a sea of seemingly dead looking trees.  Then icky Winter sets in (sorry if you’re one of those twisted individuals who enjoy snow and cold, I mean you no offense) with all the snow, ice, and freezing temperatures.

How often is life like that?  You go thru a season of everything running smooth and all is as it should be in the world then suddenly you find yourself in a season that’s not so bright, and sometimes seemingly barren, cold and not what you expected or wanted?  The key to life (and the actual climate seasons) is to find the beauty and goodness in every stage/season we find ourself.  Even in those times you may not enjoy or see anything fruitful taking place, it’s a time to grow, learn, rest, reevaluate, prepare.  Life is precious and the time we have is limited.  It is vital that we determine to max out and live every moment to the fullest and uttermost!!!  Don’t allow yourself to become stuck or bogged down, wasting a single precious moment you’ve been given.

You may be saying, your life sucks & you don’t have anything to enjoy.  My response to you is… PERSPECTIVE is everything!  I promise you there is someone out there worse off than you who would love to trade lives with you this very moment.  I know and know of people who have suffered horrific life circumstances yet chose to not allow that to define them or dictate their future.  I’m not trying to be heartless or unsympathetic… I simply want you to realize this life is what you make it.  Life, like Kentucky weather, is always subject to change!!!  As long as you are breathing, there is hope for you and your circumstance.  Is change easy?  Nope!  Is it worth it?  Yes!!!  Don’t be afraid to change, don’t be afraid to enjoy life, don’t be afraid to ask for help, don’t be afraid to help someone else. Don’t allow fear, failure, the opinion of others, your past, your family, bitterness, challenges, whatever……. keep you from enjoying every season of your life.
